Purcell are looking for an exceptional recently qualified Private (Prime) Residential Architect to join our London team. This role offers the opportunity to be involved in and develop your career while working in a team on unique design led private residential and hospitality projects, working collaboratively with a broad consultant team. You will have relevant experience with a focus on technical design and project delivery gained while working on UK prime residential projects during your Part 2 and Part 3.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years’ post Part 3 qualification experience (PQE) as a UK-registered architect, with experience of delivering prime residential and listed building refurbishment projects in the UK.
- Strong proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD, with a good working understanding of BIM processes, model coordination, and producing accurate, well-structured drawing information.
- Technical design capability, with experience in preparing high quality detailed traditional design and construction packages under senior guidance, with a focus on clarity, accuracy and buildability.
- Working knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction principles, with a willingness to deepen knowledge in listed building and heritage contexts.
- Experience supporting coordination with multidisciplinary consultants (structural, MEP, interiors, specialists), ensuring effective information flow within BIM-led project environments.
- Proactive and responsible approach to work, showing initiative in progressing tasks, resolving design/technical queries, and supporting project delivery without constant supervision.
- Ability to manage, prepare and update drawings and packages and BIM models, maintaining consistency, quality, and compliance with project standards and protocols.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage assigned tasks efficiently and contribute positively to programme deadlines in a fast-paced studio environment.
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to work effectively within teams and engage constructively with consultants and project stakeholders.
- Enthusiastic, design and detail-oriented, and highly motivated to develop professionally, with a strong willingness to take on increasing responsibility within a design-led team.
