An established architectural practice in London is currently seeking a Design Architect with over 1 year of post qualification experience to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to further develop their early stage design skills within a supportive and well structured studio environment. The role will focus on front end design, offering strong exposure to concept development, feasibility studies and early stage client engagement across a varied portfolio. Projects span both residential and commercial workplace sectors, giving the successful candidate the chance to work on well considered schemes from the outset while collaborating closely with experienced designers. They are particularly interested in Architects who enjoy the creative side of the process and want to continue developing their design voice, while still gaining broader exposure across the project lifecycle over time.

Requirements:

  • 1 year plus of post qualification experience
  • Strong interest and experience in early design stages, particularly RIBA stages 0 to 2
  • Background in residential and or commercial office projects
  • Confident design skills with the ability to communicate ideas clearly through drawings and presentations
  • Revit capability preferred, alongside strong design software skills such as Rhino, SketchUp or Adobe Creative Suite
  • Ability to take ownership of design tasks while working collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organisational skills with a proactive and professional approach
