Building Information Modelling Manager – Hybrid Based at one of the following offices (hybrid): Sheffield, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Blackpool, Glasgow. Our client is seeking an experienced Building Information Modelling Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping digital delivery across a large and evolving estate portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity for a Building Information Modelling Manager to lead on strategy, governance, and innovation—driving the creation of high-quality, structured asset data and embedding best practice across projects and operations. As a Building Information Modelling Manager, you will sit at the centre of digital transformation, working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure information flows effectively from project delivery into long-term asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- You will lead the BIM strategy, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650 and the UK BIM Framework, while developing and managing asset information standards such as AIRs and EIRs.
- You’ll oversee BIM assurance processes, including model audits and quality checks, and ensure seamless integration of BIM outputs into CAFM/IWMS systems.
- Alongside this, you will manage Common Data Environment (CDE) usage, mentor BIM professionals, drive stakeholder engagement, and support innovation initiatives including digital twin development.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering BIM strategy aligned to ISO 19650
- Strong background managing asset information standards (AIR, EIR, COBie, IFC)
- Extensive BIM assurance and quality control experience
- Advanced knowledge of Revit and Navisworks
- Experience integrating BIM with CAFM/IWMS platforms
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Experience working within CDE (common data environments)
