At Bouygues we are constantly building our skills around our BIM offering. Our projects utilise BIM extensively and we are growing our BIM teams throughout our organisation. This role would sit in our technical design team and would be based at our Waterloo office. The role will offer a Hybrid pattern.
Your Skills Profile Should Ideally Include:
- BIM experience including creating models in Revit and experience in the process of collaborative multi-discipline coordination.
- Proven experience in Design Coordination, ideally with a major construction company or sub-contractor.
- Substantial hands-on experience with Revit and Revizto demonstrating a strong understanding of digital coordination workflows.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, showing strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Experience providing training and mentoring in BIM, digital tools, and structured data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the coordination with architectural, structural and MEP models using BIM tools (e.g. Revit, Revizto, Solibri, Morta etc.).
- Report on project milestones, progress, and performance indicators to senior management and stakeholders.
- Support the Business Unit/Regional BIM Manager with the production and maintenance of comprehensive digital documentation.
- Ensure quality assurance and adherence to project standards across all documentation and deliverables.
- Promote best practices in digital construction and foster a collaborative working environment across project teams.
- Liaise with consultants, production teams, contractors, and supply chain partners to ensure clear communication and collaborative problem-solving.
- Represent the function at design coordination, progress, and technical meetings.
