Within the Olympia destination, Hyatt Regency London Olympia will offer 204 bedrooms, a bar and restaurant, a welcoming lobby lounge and three meeting rooms, with direct connectivity to Pillar Hall and the International Convention Centre. Duties And Responsibilities Related To The Shift Engineer Role
- Work as part of the engineering team to deliver tasks and repairs across the property.
- Carry out engineering work in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, ensuring high standards and supporting a positive guest experience.
- Handle general engineering tasks across multiple disciplines, including electrical, mechanical, air-conditioning, fire protection, carpentry, and plumbing, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Complete planned preventive engineering work within plant rooms, guest rooms, and public areas.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property, with particular attention to safety features and the condition of operational equipment.
About You
Previous experience in hotel engineering is preferred. You have broad technical knowledge across disciplines such as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing. Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented, you are comfortable working independently or collaboratively as part of a team, maintaining high standards of safety and operational excellence at all times.
