Job Responsibilities
- Being professional financial expertise in meeting basic to complex accounting and financial related requirements for the clients;
- Review accounts prepared by the accounts assistants/seniors;
- Managing, coaching, mentoring and building high-performance teams;
- Responsible for growing both new and existing portfolios of clients;
- Resource planning, ensure work efficiency and cost-effectiveness of assignments and business operations;
- Passionate in building, driving, leading and growing the business to serve a great diversity of clients in various industries;
- Work with relevant stakeholders (internal and external) to drive transformation through innovation and digitalisation to support the firm’s objectives;
- Keep abreast with accounting standards changes to be able to identify relevant accounting changes to the clients;
- Ensure compliance of statutory requirements and adherence to filing deadlines.
Requirements
- Degree or relevant postgraduate/professional accounting qualifications;
- At least 2 years of experience preferably in a public accounting firm;
- Hands-on in handling a full set of accounts & supervisory skills;
- Proficient user of accounting software e.g. MYOB or Quickbook;
- Handling a portfolio of clients, those with project related experiences will be advantageous;
- Able to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines;
- Good command of Chinese & English in both written & spoken (to liaise with Chinese speaking associates);
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills;
- Possess passion, initiative and an analytical mind;
- Strong interpersonal and business writing and communication skills;
- Proactive, committed and able to work under pressure.
