We are looking for Forward-Deployed Engineers to embed directly with our enterprise customers and ship production-grade AI deployments end-to-end. This is not traditional consulting and not a sales-engineering role — you will write the code that makes AI actually run inside the customer's business.
You will:
- Work with the customer's data and systems and own the technical outcome of every engagement.
- Be part of a small, senior team building one of the first true AI-native delivery models in the region.
- Turn every deployment you ship into a reusable Reference Solution that compounds across the next 10 customers.
- Work in a remote and hybrid-friendly model — we do not require you to sit on customer site full-time.
- Be accountable for proactive customer touchpoints, structured checkpoints, and independent visibility on engagement health.
- Work directly with founders, the Product Architects, the Solution Architects, and the Forward-Deployed Consultants — no middle management.
- Be coached by experienced enterprise software founders and former IBM Technology Thought Leaders.
Responsibilities:
- Working alongside the Forward-Deployed Consultant on assigned customer engagements, owning end-to-end technical delivery from kickoff to production handover.
- Designing and building agentic AI workflows, integrations, and pipelines inside the customer's environment.
- Integrating with customer systems (CRM, ERP, data warehouse, internal APIs, SSO, security tooling).
- Partnering with the customer's IT, security, and compliance teams to clear deployment blockers and ship to production safely.
- Running your own proactive engagement cadence — weekly checkpoints, written status, surfacing blockers before they become escalations.
- Conducting knowledge transfer at the end of every engagement so the customer's own engineers can run and extend what you built.
- Feeding patterns, agents, and reusable code back to the Solution Architect team.
- White-boarding architectural decisions and turning them into production-grade code.
- Troubleshooting incidents in the field; protecting the customer's trust at every turn.
Skills & Requirements:
- Strong full-stack engineering background — production systems experience, ideally with at least one of the following: Backend development in Python / Node.js / Go; Frontend / agent UI in React / Vue / Next.js; Cloud architecture on AWS / Azure / Alibaba Cloud / GCP.
- Practical experience building with LLMs and agents — prompt design, tool use, RAG, evaluation, guardrails.
- Solid understanding of REST API design, web services, authentication (OAuth, SSO, SAML), and secure integration patterns.
- Comfortable operating without scaffolding — you can land inside an unfamiliar codebase or a customer VPN and start shipping in days, not weeks.
- Customer-facing maturity — you can run a working session with a VP, translate trade-offs into business terms, and politely push back when needed.
- Proactive, low-supervision operator — you raise risks early, run your own checkpoints, and keep collaborators in the loop without being asked.
- Bias to shipped code and adopted workflows over documentation and slides.
- Strong logical thinking, data sensitivity, and a 'can-do' attitude under enterprise-grade constraints.
- Strong sense of humor and a genuine team player.
Seniority Levels & Career Path:
- Principal FD Engineer: 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Senior FD Engineer: 5–7 years of relevant experience.
- FD Engineer: 3–4 years of relevant experience.
- Associate FD Engineer: Early-career with strong potential.
Team Benefits:
- 5-day work week with flexible working hours.
- Remote- and hybrid-friendly culture.
- Flat company structure and working directly with founders and core members in a small senior team.
- On-the-job training and coaching by certified leaders in Technology Consulting and Enterprise AI.
