ITP Aero UK are recruiting for a Manufacturing Services Engineer to join our growing team in Hucknall - UK on a full-time permanent basis, 37 hours per week. Manufacturing Services is a support function for production on site, performing machine and process maintenance activities (planned and reactive).
Your main responsibilities / What you will do:
- Work closely with the Senior Maintenance Manager UK in order to deliver the Manufacturing Services objectives.
- Work with production and the maintenance team to facilitate maintenance activities.
- Support implementation of the company Health & Safety Standards which may include taking the role of Responsible Person (RP) or Assistant RP for specified activities.
- Have experience of managing small to larger equipment/site improvement projects.
- Be able to organise planned maintenance activities.
- Work with highly skilled engineers to analyse equipment failure root causes.
- Prioritise machine issues with production and negotiate equipment release for essential maintenance.
- Deliver programs of work such as PUWER, engineering inspections, risk management.
- Work with procurement to ensure the function meets its cost challenges.
- Work with senior management to agree site and equipment funding budget plans.
- Training will be provided where necessary.
- Ensure supporting OEM’s deliver their services to the business.

- Has had experience in functional support groups.
- Experience managing the control of contractors.
- Good computer skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Has a proven track record delivering business results.
- Takes responsibility for their own development with particular focus on their communication skills.
- Has had experience of managing and coordinating external Service Providers.
- Full understanding of the site Manufacturing Services function and accountabilities.
- Accredited Project Management Training.
