The Role
You’ll take the strategic lead on a range of projects, turning insight into bold, culturally-relevant social strategies that drive results. You’ll own day-to-day delivery, write killer briefs, and guide creative work with clarity and confidence.
This role is ideal for an experienced senior strategist ready for the autonomy to lead and the support to grow. You’ll collaborate closely with clients, creatives, and client services to shape standout work and help brands show up smarter on social.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the development and delivery of day-to-day social strategy across key accounts, with support from the Strategy Director. That includes everything from audience research and cultural insight to creative briefing, activation and measurement.
- Write compelling briefs that inspire great work, collaborating closely with creative teams to ensure the strategic idea carries through to execution. You’ll help guide the thinking behind our most exciting campaigns and content.
- Uncover smart, actionable insights using a mix of desk research, audience tools, social listening and platform analytics. Keep a close eye on emerging tools and trends, turning behaviour shifts into strategic opportunities.
- Work closely with client services to ensure our strategies deliver against business goals. Build trusted relationships with day-to-day clients, and help spot opportunities to drive added value and strategic growth.
- Support on select new business pitches, shaping strategic narratives, writing decks, and representing the strategy function with clarity and confidence.
- Support more junior members of the team by sharing feedback, coaching on outputs and contributing to a collaborative, high-performance team culture.
What We’re Looking For
- A proven strategist with a strong track record working in a social/integrated strategy role.
- A social obsessive - you live and breathe social and have a solid understanding of best practice, social culture and a solid PoV on where the industry is headed.
- A confident strategic thinker with a track record of delivering smart, culturally relevant and effective work.
- A strong communicator and storyteller; someone who is able to bring clarity to the complex in their thinking, writing and presenting.
- An insight hunter with hands-on experience using social listening tools, analytics platforms and audience data.
- A creative partner - someone who is able to brief and build ideas in collaboration with the creative team.
- A team player with a proactive mindset and strong time management.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior strategists.
- Comfortable working independently on mid-sized accounts or alongside the Strategy Directors on larger-scale briefs.
