And now, we’re looking for a Creative Resource Manager to help keep our creative engine running smoothly.
The Role
As our Creative Resource Manager, you’ll be the heartbeat of our workflow - making sure the right talent is on the right projects at the right time. You’ll report into our Operations Director, and partner with our Creative Department leads, Client Services and Ops teams to keep timelines tight, plates spinning, and people sane. You’ll bring order to our beautiful chaos, making sure we stay agile without compromising creative excellence.
In a nutshell you will:
- Own resourcing across our creative team.
- Balance client demand, capacity, and talent.
- Help us stay creatively excellent without burning people out or blowing the budget.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Project Traffic & Workflow: Own and manage the day-to-day trafficking of jobs, ensuring smooth flow from brief to delivery across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Creative Team Leads Partnership: Work closely with our Creative and Client Service leads to shape Client teams based on Skills, Experience, Workload and Development goals.
- Forecasting & Capacity Planning: Work closely with all team leads to forecast resource needs, flagging upcoming pinch points and planning ahead to avoid overload or downtime.
- Resource Allocation: Assign creative talent to projects based on your in-depth knowledge of our individuals strengths, skills, experience, availability and business priorities.
- Hiring Decisions: Input into permanent hiring vs freelance decisions, and recommend changes to team structure or role mix.
- Tool Ownership: Ownership of tools such as Productive (Resource booking) and Worksome (freelance booking) and improving workflows for briefing, scheduling and traffic management.
- Freelancer Management: Maintain and manage a bank of go-to freelance talent - booking, onboarding, and supporting as needed to flex with project demand.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Act as the central connector between client team, creative, strategy, commercial and production - ensuring alignment on timelines, investment, deliverables, and priorities.
- Process Optimisation: Help shape and improve internal processes to keep projects moving quickly and efficiently without compromising creativity and speed.
- Status & Reporting: Run daily/weekly status meetings, own resource sheets, and keep teams updated on availability and deadlines.
- Commercial and Financial Awareness: Support in billable vs non billable balance, working with the Ops team to maintain utilisation targets, hiring decisions and freelance spend.
- Problem Solving: Proactively spot bottlenecks, scheduling clashes or resourcing issues, and resolve them calmly, quickly, and creatively.
- People Development: Play a key role in ensuring individuals are not just busy, but growing, helping shape opportunities that stretch skills without tipping people into burnout.
What We’re Looking For
- Organised but Flexible Operator: Thrive in fast-paced environments and bring structure without slowing things down.
- A Natural Plate-Spinner: Great at juggling multiple priorities and keeping projects and people on track.
- Commercially-minded but People-first: Know how to manage creative personalities, balance workloads, and keep morale high without impacting the bottom line.
- A Calm Head in Chaos: Stay cool and focus on solutions when things get hectic.
- An Agency Insider: Have worked in a creative or social agency and understand how multi-disciplinary teams work together.
- A Process Pro: Confident using tools like Trello, Float, or other resourcing/project management platforms, and always on the lookout for ways to improve how things flow.

- The opportunity to shape and scale the operational backbone of a bold, fast-growing agency.
- A seat in a creative-first environment where no two days are the same.
- A collaborative, culture-first team that genuinely loves what they do.
- Freedom to improve systems and bring new ideas to the table.
