Description of the role:
- Review tender enquiries, specifications, and contract conditions.
- Prepare estimates, tender submissions, and attend review meetings.
- Ensure all construction methods comply with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Conduct site visits and assess factors influencing cost and construction methods.
- Source materials, plant hire, and subcontractor quotes; calculate costs and overheads.
- Support contract handovers and maintain compliance with company procedures.
- Mentor and support junior staff to develop skills and competence.
About you:
- You will have experience with industrial buildings and civil engineering projects.
- Civil Engineering or equivalent degree would be advantageous.
- Experience in substation construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, cost estimation, and health & safety legislation.
