Description of the role:

  • Leading the development of products by exploring new designs, materials and techniques.
  • Working closely with the production team and technical service team to identify challenges.
  • Ensuring tooling and material flows support with your design ideas.
  • Creating functional models and mock-up designs to test design concepts.
  • Choosing new materials and optimising them for production processes.
  • Ensuring all designs and materials align with the performance goals of the product.

About you:

  • Experience in 3D, AutoCAD and Solidworks.
  • Bachelor\’s degree in industrial design, product design or mechanical engineering.
  • Experience with product testing, performance evaluations and applying feedback.
  • 10 years\’ experience of working within the uPVC/Aluminium industry.
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
