We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery team in Bicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for both qualified and unqualified candidates who are enthusiastic, caring, and eager to develop within the childcare sector. For unqualified candidates, this nursery offers a fantastic training programme, with the opportunity to begin after 6 months of employment - perfect for anyone looking to start a long-term career in childcare.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Support children's learning and development through engaging play and planned activities
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
- Observe, monitor, and record children's progress and development
- Support children with daily routines including meal times, toileting, and nap times
- Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are always met
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting
- Support children's emotional, social, and behavioural development
- Ensure all nursery policies and procedures are followed at all times
About you
- Ideally Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Childcare/Early Years
- However, unqualified applicants are encouraged to apply
- Must have a genuine passion for childcare and child development
- Positive, reliable, and eager to learn
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
