We are currently recruiting for a Nursery Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive nursery team in Bicester. This is a fantastic opportunity for both qualified and unqualified candidates who are enthusiastic, caring, and eager to develop within the childcare sector. For unqualified candidates, this nursery offers a fantastic training programme, with the opportunity to begin after 6 months of employment - perfect for anyone looking to start a long-term career in childcare.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and education for children in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Support children's learning and development through engaging play and planned activities
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for all children
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and carers
  • Observe, monitor, and record children's progress and development
  • Support children with daily routines including meal times, toileting, and nap times
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare requirements are always met
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the nursery setting
  • Support children's emotional, social, and behavioural development
  • Ensure all nursery policies and procedures are followed at all times

About you

  • Ideally Level 2 or Level 3 qualified in Childcare/Early Years
  • However, unqualified applicants are encouraged to apply
  • Must have a genuine passion for childcare and child development
  • Positive, reliable, and eager to learn
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
