An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Purchasing Coordinator to join a growing organisation with a diverse property portfolio, including residential, commercial and development projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong purchasing and supplier management experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking to take ownership of the procurement function while supporting ongoing business growth.

Description of the role:

Reporting into senior management, you will oversee purchasing activities across multiple operational sites and projects, ensuring materials, equipment and services are sourced efficiently and cost-effectively.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing purchasing activities across operational sites, refurbishment and development projects.
  • Sourcing materials, equipment, operational supplies and plant hire.
  • Building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and service agreements.
  • Monitoring supplier performance to ensure quality, value and timely delivery.
  • Verifying invoices, resolving discrepancies and supporting the finance team.
  • Coordinating deliveries and ensuring projects receive materials on schedule.
  • Managing stock control, inventory and inter-site transfers.
  • Handling product issues, returns and quality concerns.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve purchasing processes and systems.
  • Providing guidance and day-to-day support to a Purchasing Coordinator.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a purchasing, procurement or buying role.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Confidence building relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
