We are currently working with a growing business looking to bring in an experienced Finance Support professional on a temporary basis, with the potential for this to become a permanent role for the right person. This is a hands-on, varied role supporting a busy finance function during a period of change and development. The role offers flexibility around working hours (typically 20-25 hours per week, with the option to increase as required).
Description of the role:
- Providing day-to-day financial support, with a particular focus on:
- Accruals and prepayments
- Supporting month-end processes
- Maintaining, analysing and reconciling data in Excel
- Reviewing, cleansing and integrating historic financial information
- Supporting with spreadsheet-based projects and reporting
- Assisting with personal tax documentation and information relating to rental properties
About you:
- Proven experience working with accruals and prepayments
- Strong Excel skills - comfortable working with large data sets, formulas, and analysis
- A hands-on, detail-focused finance professional
- Comfortable working independently and supporting ongoing projects
- Experience within finance support, accounts, or similar roles
