Description of the role:
- Manage and maintain strong supplier relationships through clear and consistent communication.
- Raise, track, and manage purchase orders to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
- Negotiate favourable terms and pricing with vendors to maximise value.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively prevent shortages or delays.
- Evaluate suppliers and suggest improvements to strengthen the supply chain.
- Mitigate risk by flagging and addressing potential backorder issues.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure seamless coordination across departments.
- Review and approve invoices, resolving any discrepancies.
About you:
- 1-3 years of procurement experience, ideally within a manufacturing setting.
