We are currently recruiting for an experienced Management Accountant to join a supportive business based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated finance professional who is either fully qualified or nearing completion of their professional qualification and looking to take the next step in their career.
You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting and supporting business decision-making across the organisation:
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Producing variance analysis and financial commentary for senior management
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Supporting month-end and year-end processes
- Identifying trends in expenditure and supporting cost control initiatives
- Supporting operational teams with financial insight and reporting
- Assisting with audit preparation and statutory reporting where required
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes and systems
About you:
- CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified
- Strong Excel and financial analysis skills
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proactive approach with a desire to add value to the business
