Located in a beautiful area in the Canterbury region, Fable Terrace Downs Resort is seeking a Resort Management Couple to lead the team and oversee its successful operation.
Fable Terrace Downs Resort by MGallery features a championship 18-hole golf course designed by Sid Puddicombe, set against the stunning backdrop of the Southern Alps. The resort offers 25 luxurious self-contained villas with two to three bedrooms and excellent event facilities, making it ideal for weddings and conferences.
The ideal candidates are a hands-on couple willing to stay onsite and manage the property. This role is perfect for those who wish to enjoy the scenic views of the Southern Alps and have a golf course at their doorstep.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Managing daily operations and leading the team
- Overseeing financial and budget management in collaboration with the Regional General Manager
- Partnering with the Revenue and Sales teams to meet targets and grow revenue
- Driving exceptional guest service standards
- Recruiting, retaining, developing, and training staff
- Maintaining the resort and its facilities to brand standards
Skills and Requirements:
- Experience in Resort Management within an upscale environment
- Experience in Rooms, F&B, and property maintenance is preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences
- Proficiency in complaint resolution
- Good negotiation and relationship-building skills with suppliers
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Current eligibility to work in New Zealand is essential
