Fable England is a fashion accessories brand best known for exquisitely crafting hand‑painted jewellery, handbags, scarves and sleepwear. Inspired by classic British literature, each collection beholds a rich and playful narrative illustrated through prints and embroideries, where timeless scenes of nature set a whimsical spin on a classic tale to amuse and delight. This is a hands‑on role for someone who thinks in content and lives on social. You’ll be responsible for building and driving Fable England’s social presence forward - combining content creation, strategic planning and championing the brand. Reporting to the Brand Marketing Director, you’ll work at the heart of the brand during an exciting growth period, shaping how we show up across every digital touchpoint. You’ll work closely with Digital and Product teams, with meaningful creative autonomy within a clear brand framework. Everything we publish must feel unmistakably Fable - visually, verbally and emotionally.
- Social
- Own day‑to‑day management of social channels, with Instagram and TikTok as the primary focus
- Plan and manage content calendars aligned to launches, campaigns and the wider brand calendar
- Develop a new social strategy alongside the Brand Marketing Director for the next phase of brand growth
- Produce a strong, balanced mix of product and brand content, rooted in the content pillars
- Run monthly test and learn initiatives to stay ahead of platform trends and audience behaviour
- Monitor platform algorithm changes and proactively adapt content strategy in response
- Tracking brand sentiment, competitor activity and category conversation
- Content Creation & Management
- Create, commission and deliver high quality content across Instagram, TikTok, Substack and the website
- Support the planning and execution of content shoots, both in‑house and with external partners
- Produce and edit short‑form video, Reels and visual assets to a consistent brand standard
- Write and oversee brand‑consistent copy for social, email and all relevant touchpoints
- Source and manage a network of external content creators, from brief through to deliverable sign‑off
- Develop the brand‑led/editorial email content plan and execute all required assets
- Collaboration & Insight
- Collaborate with Product and Digital teams to support trading priorities through content
- Monitor performance, engagement and content effectiveness across all channels
- Use insight to refine content strategy and improve relevance, reach and commercial impact
- Produce a regular reporting rhythm (weekly/monthly) with clear performance commentary
- Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in content creation, planning and brand‑led social media management
- Experience within lifestyle, fashion or accessories brand
- Strong visual taste level, instinctive storytelling ability and excellent written communication
- Confidence shooting, editing and publishing content – as always being in content yourself
- Comfortable working independently and collaborating cross‑functionally
- Experience briefing and managing freelance creators or UGC contributors
- An awareness of changing platform and social trends
