ROLE PURPOSE
As the Senior International Key Account Manager – Europe, Middle East & Asia Markets, you will:
- Be responsible for driving strategic growth and managing key international accounts across the EU, Middle East, and Asia.
- Act as the primary liaison for key clients in these regions, ensuring strong partnerships and commercial success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
These will include, but not limited to:
Category Growth Vision
- Assess the hair care category within each market/client, identifying key growth opportunities.
- Define strategies aligned with the brand’s objectives, working closely with Marketing teams.
- Provide continuous feedback on client/channel needs to enhance the Marketing and Trade Plans.
- Analyse competition, both in Brick & Mortar and Digital environments.
Strategic Account Management
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve market share, revenue, margin, and growth targets.
- Define and negotiate the required A&P investment.
- Negotiate commercial terms and agreements with clients.
- Manage forecasting and credit risk in collaboration finance and operations teams.
- Monitor monthly distribution, market share/rankings, sales, and investments and put in action plan to drive growth.
- Ensure correct pricing implementation and client invoicing.
Omnichannel retail activation
- Manage the distribution and omnichannel activation of skincare and fragrance launches.
- Negotiate and implement Trade and Retail Plans across physical and digital channels.
- Oversee the correct implementation of assortments in points of sale, planograms, in store materials, digital assets and training activations with Marketing.
Customer Management – Joint Business Planning
- Build and maintain long term relationships with major international retail chains, e-commerce platforms, and distributors.
- Develop joint business plans to drive category growth in each account.
- Set up, prepare and follow up on monthly/quarterly business updates with clients.
- Ensure excellence in customer service through order tracking, invoicing, and outstanding charge follow-ups.
Experience
- Masters in Business, Luxury and/or Marketing.
- Proven Experience (min 5 years) in International Key Account Management, with a strong commercial focus – ideally gained in the beauty sector.
- Additional experience in retail or marketing within a consumer-driven environment.
- Familiarity with budget management, promotional planning, and driving category growth.
- Proven track record in commercial planning, trade terms negotiation, and driving growth within key accounts.
- experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment.
Knowledge
- Strong understanding of retail dynamics and sell-in/sell-out processes.
- Knowledge of market-specific commercial needs and opportunities within the EU, Middle East, and Asia.
- Knowledge of global retail trends.
- Understanding of local market nuances in key regions (EU, Middle East, Asia).
