If you haven’t lived and worked in the UK market for at least 10–15 years, this role is not for you. We are not interested in theory, overseas experience, or guesswork. You must understand how UK fabrication and joinery businesses actually operate. FABERTEC GROUP UK is hiring a high-level operator who knows this industry inside out. This is not a sales job. This is a performance role.
The Role
- Build your own pipeline — no hand-holding, no inbound leads
- Prospect, visit, and close deals end-to-end
- Sell CNC routers (£20k–£80k) and fiber lasers (£45k–£500k)
- Advise clients on workflow, efficiency, and profitability
- Challenge clients when needed — not just agree and quote
- Take full ownership of results
Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Deep, practical knowledge of fiber laser cutting machines (materials, gases, thickness, performance, limitations)
- Strong understanding of CNC routers in real production environments (nesting, joinery workflows, efficiency)
- Ability to improve a client’s business, not just sell equipment
- Background in fabrication, engineering, or joinery preferred
- Proven track record in selling capital equipment in this sector
- You generate your own deals — consistently
What We Expect
- Self-management — zero babysitting
- Fast, decisive, and commercially sharp
- Honest, direct communication
- High activity: calls, site visits, closing
- Focus on value, not discounting
This is not a 9–5 role. You are paid for output, not presence.
What You Get
- Base salary + uncapped commission
- Realistic OTE £125,000+ (no ceiling for top performers)
- Incentives for overperformance
- Full autonomy — build your own territory
- Strong product backed by UK-based service, stock, and engineering
Structure
- You bring deals — you earn
- Clear separation between your pipeline and company pipeline
- Commission paid on completed, paid deals
- Performance is tracked and visible
Payment Flexibility
- We can structure payments to suit the right candidate:
- PAYE
- Limited company
- Self‑employed
- Offshore structures (where appropriate)
Final Point
We are not hiring potential. We are hiring proven ability. If you need training, guidance, or a safety net — this is not for you. If you know the market, move fast, and close — you will be rewarded accordingly.
