The Role

This is a highly influential and creative role. The successful candidate will take responsibility for the evolution of Fabergé's jewellery collections, ensuring they authentically reflect the brand's heritage while being refined, modern, and commercially compelling. • New Product Development
    • Design new jewellery pieces that are clean, elegant, and modern while remaining unmistakably Fabergé.
    • Ensure every new design integrates seamlessly into existing collections or clearly defines a new creative direction.
    • Balance creativity with wearability, desirability, and long‐term brand value.
    • Develop designs within the agreed indicative price ranges, clearly defined collection value propositions, and target clientele profiles.
  • Creation of a New Brand Motif
    • Develop a distinctive new motif for Fabergé that reflects its history, symbolism, and future vision.
    • Ensure this motif is versatile and timeless, suitable for use across: Jewellery collections, Branding and visual identity, Packaging and broader creative applications.
  • Design Excellence & Execution
    • Oversee the design process, from initial concept to final execution.
    • Ensure precision in proportions, materials, stone selection, and finishing.
    • Maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship and detail expected of a heritage luxury house.
    • Act as the guardian of Fabergé's design integrity.
    • Collaborate closely with production, marketing, and leadership teams to ensure creative vision is realized accurately.
    • Influence the long‐term creative direction of the brand.

Candidate Profile

  • Extensive experience as a Senior or Lead Jewellery Designer within high jewellery or luxury fine jewellery.
  • Proven ability to work with heritage brands and reinterpret historic codes for a contemporary audience.
  • Exceptional understanding of jewellery construction, materials, gemstones, and production techniques.
  • A refined design aesthetic, clean, elegant, and timeless rather than trend-driven.
  • Strategic thinker with the confidence to make decisive creative changes.
  • Strong conceptual skills with the ability to create symbols and motifs with lasting relevance.
  • Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to precision and excellence.
  • Comfortable working with significant creative responsibility and autonomy.
