Position Overview
This is a unique opportunity for a creative and technically skilled Jewellery & CAD Designer to join Fabergé, one of the most iconic names in luxury. Known for its rich heritage, exceptional craftsmanship, and spirit of innovation, Fabergé continues to redefine the art of fine jewellery for a global and modern clientele.
We are looking for a designer who can honour Fabergé’s legacy while bringing fresh perspective and precision to new collections and bespoke creations.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Design high jewellery and fine jewellery pieces from initial concept to final technical drawing, with an emphasis on beauty, innovation, and craftsmanship.
- Produce detailed hand-rendered and/or CAD drawings that align with Fabergé’s design language and storytelling ethos. Manage designs on internal systems.
- Work closely with the Head of Design and collaborate with cross-functional teams including product development, marketing, and production.
- Create mood boards, visual narratives, and design presentations to support seasonal collections, bespoke commissions, and VIP projects.
- Interpret private client briefs with sensitivity to symbolism, personalisation, and Fabergé’s heritage.
- Stay informed on current trends in jewellery, art, and fashion, while maintaining a strong awareness of traditional craftsmanship and emerging techniques.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Experience in high jewellery and/or fine jewellery design, ideally within a luxury or heritage brand.
- Proficiency in both hand sketching and CAD design (e.g., Rhino, Matrix, or equivalent).
- Strong understanding of gemstones, settings, and jewellery production processes.
- Appreciation for Fabergé’s legacy, with the ability to evolve it through contemporary and relevant design.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
