What you will be doing
The purpose of this role is to support the Business Controller in the successful administration of customer invoicing. The role will involve working with commercial & operational teams to ensure information is validated and accurate, queries are resolved in a timely manner and customer requirements are met. The role will involve challenging stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of processes.
- Invoicing: Raise accurate customer invoices on schedule, validating fees first and meeting customer requirements.
- Customer queries: Log, track and resolve invoicing queries on time, escalating them when needed and keeping credit control informed.
- Analysis: Reconcile invoices, report on query status, analyse credits and carry out ad-hoc analysis.
- Continuous improvement: Make processes more efficient through automation and up-to-date systems.
- Ad-hoc: Support the team and handle other requests as needed.
What you need
Essential to have:
- Educated to GCSE and A-Level standards (A to C)
- Invoicing
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
- Resilience and the ability to remain calm during periods of high demand
- Highly developed organisational skills
- Finance or accounting degree/qualification
- Finance / Accounting
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
- Proficient with IT systems and software packages
