Faber Building Services Ltd, we’re a team of skilled, down-to-earth tradespeople who take pride in doing things properly. We look after new-build homes across the Southeast – fixing, finishing, and improving the details that others may have missed. We’ve built a great reputation by working hard, supporting each other, and keeping standards high. If you take pride in your work, enjoy variety, and want to be part of a company that values good people and quality workmanship, you’ll fit right in here. Many of our team have been with us for years because they know they’re valued, supported, and given the space to do quality work.

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll work on a mix of remedial and aftercare jobs in new-build homes, handling tasks like:

  • Painting and decorating
  • Carpentry and joinery
  • Tiling, grouting, and finishing
  • Tape and jointing, silicone, and touch-ups

No two days are the same — one morning you might be repairing a door frame, the next finishing off a kitchen or bathroom. You’ll get the trust and autonomy to do a job properly, with the support of a great team behind you.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in multi-trade or maintenance work
  • Pride in your craft — you like leaving things better than you found them
  • Reliable, proactive, and a genuine team player
  • Good with customers and site teams
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS card

What You’ll Get

  • Full-time PAYE role
  • Company van, paid fuel, and paid travel time
  • Overtime at 1.5 x if you want the extra
  • Enhanced pay for some areas
  • Earn up to 4 extra days’ holiday each year by working Saturday overtime
  • Generous holiday allowance — Christmas & New Year shutdown
  • Quality uniform, PPE, and trade accounts
  • Workplace pension and ongoing training

Upskill & Grow with Us

Maybe you’re a skilled all-rounder who’s never had the chance to expand into new areas, like carpet fitting, tiling, or plumbing. At Faber, we invest in our people with proper upskill training and trade courses, so you can keep learning and add more strings to your bow. If you’ve got the attitude, we’ll help you build the skills.

What to Expect

You’ll need to pass a basic DBS check, show proof of right to work in the UK, and provide two work references. Trade qualifications or licences are a plus.
