Purpose/Scope:
To provide fabricate and supply quality forming materials to production crews for casting concrete products such as walls, beams, and columns. Mold materials include plastic, wood, and foam as needed.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and tend panel saws, chops saws, table saws, routers, wood-nailing machines, and/or other equipment as necessary.
- Cut to fit and assemble forms for concrete products based on blueprint dimensions.
- Verify dimensions with tape measures/rules to 1/16th of an inch.
- Add fasteners and adhesives to connect pieces into a complete unit.
- Ensure wood isn\’t warped, cracked, or swollen.
- Deliver finished products to designated areas.
- Maintain a safe work environment through daily cleaning and safety practices.
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to read a tape measure to 1/16th of an inch.
- Woodworking skills and prior experience.
- Ability to read plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
Carpentry background.
Physical Requirements:
Move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness, walk, climb, bend, reach, use hand tools forcefully, vocal projection.
Work Environment:
All weather conditions, dirt/dust, noise, vibrations, varying lighting, stairs, narrow walkways.
Compensation:
Starting at $19.00/hour with a $2.00/hour increase after 120 days.
