As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Specification Manager to join our remote team.
As a Specification Manager you will manage Northern England, Scotland & Northern Ireland within a defined sales postcode map to ensure that you meet the UK Sales Specification Strategy, and ensure that it is executed in accordance with the targets set and defined within the FAAC Entrance Solutions Business Plan and Commission Schedules, whilst protecting the best interests of the company and providing good customer service at all times.
Principle Duties And Responsibilities- Drive an increase in EQS specifications & sales values for the given region
- Contribute to an increase in company profitability
- Identify opportunities for an increase in quality project related enquiries
- Share information across FAAC Entrance Solutions to develop opportunities
- Develop meaningful relationships with Architects and Consultants
- Provide detailed specifications to Architects
- Deliver company presentations and CPD to Architects
- Carry out site surveys to facilitate the best solution based offer to the client
- Maintain all CRM activities in a timely manner
- Gather and share any market intelligence so we make the most of any opportunities
- Increase market awareness and promote the FAAC Entrance Solutions brand
- Meet (or exceed) all KPI as set by the UK Specification & Marketing Director
- Ensuring clear, proper and detailed records are maintained on all projects
- Liaise and work closely with all BDM to ensure that FAAC specification is defended
- Excellent communication and people management skills
- To demonstrate a prolonged period of successful specification results
- Experienced in selling and specifying a technical product
- A high standard of commercial awareness
- Have the ability to convey technical information precisely
- PC literate and able to utilize MS Office applications
- Accustomed to professional use of CRM systems and disciplines
- Be a confident presenter and used to presenting to large groups of people
- Previous Field Sales & Specification experience, with strong emphasis on B2B
- Possess a valid European Union Passport or have Visa allowing unrestricted travel
- Ensure confidentiality is respected and maintained in all matters relating to the company operations
- Display at all times, a courteous and responsible attitude towards work colleagues and customers
- Must be competent with all Microsoft applications
- Must have a deep understanding and belief in CRM systems
- Must be licensed to drive in the UK
- Preferably a good understanding of the UK Specification & Construction market
- Must be able to read and understand construction drawings
