FAAC Entrance Solutions is a provider of automatic door systems, committed to delivering high-quality service and innovative solutions for a wide range of clients across commercial, industrial, and public sectors. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated and skilled Service Engineer to join our remote team.
As a Service Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and optimising our clients’ automatic door systems. You will be the go-to expert for technical issues, providing both remote and on-site support when required. Although this role is remote, you’ll need to be Scotland-based to attend site visits and collaborate with other team members effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Completion of PPM, reactive & modernization/upgrade calls.
- To provide customer & colleague technical support & product modernization recommendations.
- Completing door safety checks & investigating door incidents & customer complaints.
- To provide on site customer support to EQS customers.
- To adhere to company processes & procedures & highlight improvement opportunities.
- Delivering customer service & maintaining QHSE compliance at all times.
- Management & maintenance of your Tablet/paperwork, stock, vehicle, uniform & PPE.
- To comply with all customer specific on site arrival/pre-work/working/departure processes & procedures.
- To complete mandatory box tests after all calls.
- OOH rota duty.

EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: BS7036/EN16005
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous knowledge and experience of working on automatic doors is highly desirable.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: CSCS Card.
