Responsibilities

  • Assist with day‑to‑day activities on major UK infrastructure projects.
  • Provide support to the Project Controls team in preparing month‑end reporting data and ensuring its accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate with Commercial, Delivery and other relevant disciplines to gather information promptly in alignment with the Month End Reporting Calendar.
  • Support the Project Controls team with performance reports and ad‑hoc requests from Senior Management.
  • Develop sound knowledge of Earned Value and its applications to construction.

Qualifications

  • Degree or Master’s in engineering / construction project management.
  • Motivated to learn and add value to the team, the role and the Graduate Programme.
  • Analytical thinker who enjoys problem‑solving.
  • Proven team player who can effectively work with others.
  • Enjoys working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proactive approach to working and learning.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of the industry.
  • Familiar with all Microsoft packages.
  • Highly motivated, logical thinker, resilient and flexible in approach to work.
  • Results driven with strong communication skills.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision.

Essential Requirements

  • Right to work in the UK by the start of employment and throughout the entirety of the graduate programme.

Desirable Requirements

  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
  • Cost Engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of construction scheduling principles, NEC3 contracts and Power BI.
