Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively and liaise with the Design and Construction teams.
• Liaise with Thames Commercial representatives to discuss SAF1 and2 objectives and requirements.
• Correspond and liaise with selected supply‑chain bidders to correctly administer the pre‑qualification and tender processes.
• Arrange appropriate tender meetings with the supply chain for each package.
• Draft suitable subcontract condition amendments and Data PartOne andTwo documents.
• Draft, compile, and amend Works Information documents for potential subcontract packages.
• Draft and amend standard ITT documents to issue to each supply chain.
• Manage the day‑to‑day tender queries for the tenderers.
• Arrange mid‑term and final tender meetings; prepare bid‑analysis documents for review where appropriate.
• Prepare recommendations to Ferrovial CadaguaJV and to Thames on each package.
• Attend meetings within the FC JV to discuss procurement strategy and with Thames and the supply chain to review bid compliance and to discuss and agree any proposed changes in terms and conditions.
• Liaise with the M&E team to achieve consistency of approach whenever possible.
• Liaise with FC JV planners with respect to programming and time documentation.
• Provide specialist item procurement contractual advice.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a similar discipline.
• Good knowledge of NEC contracts.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact at a variety of levels throughout the company as well as with partners, suppliers and customers.
• Good influencing and persuasive skills and ability to build effective working relationships with people at many levels.
• Methodical approach.
• Desirable skills: experience in water treatment.
• Desirable skills: experience working in an international organization.
