Job Description
ServiceNow Developer
Remote-first, with flexibility to travel to UK client sites as and when needed
£50,000 – £85,000 (depending on level) + benefits
We're hiring for a fast-growing digital transformation consultancy delivering large-scale ServiceNow programmes for UK government clients. The work is complex, hands-on, and outcome-driven.
This role sits within a team focused on building out ITOM, ITAM, and IRM solutions for high-profile accounts. Most developers here started with ITSM and moved into deeper platform areas.
You'll be expected to deliver working code, not just configuration, and to work at pace across demanding client environments.
What you'll be doing
- Building and extending the ServiceNow platform with real development work
- Writing client/server-side scripts and using JavaScript to deliver across ITOM, ITAM, and IRM
- Picking up user stories and working independently through delivery
- Supporting and building integrations with external systems and data sources
- Collaborating with architects and other developers in agile delivery teams
What we're looking for
Mid-Level
- JavaScript/Scripting experience within ServiceNow
- Comfortable with Glide APIs and relational database concepts
- Experience delivering development tasks, not just admin or catalogue items
- CSA certification (or working towards it)
Senior-Level
- Able to lead builds and own delivery for areas like integrations or platform extensions
- Confident working across multiple modules and technical streams
- Experience mentoring junior developers
- Strong problem-solving and coding skills
The practical stuff
- Remote-first with flexibility to attend client sites across UK when required
- Must be eligible for SC Clearance and hold sole British nationality
- Paid training days and support with ServiceNow certifications
- 25 days annual leave (plus buy/sell options)
- Private healthcare and flexible benefits
