Maidenhead 3 days office / 2 days home 12-month FTC

How would you like to help get a new site connected, secure and ready for business?

This is a chance to put your network engineering skills to work on a tangible project, with room to influence the design and see your ideas through to delivery.

You'll help establish the network and secure infrastructure for a new Maidenhead site, alongside improving the existing environment. Working closely with the Head of Infrastructure and a junior network colleague, you'll bring technical expertise, fresh ideas and a practical approach.

You'll be:

  • Designing, configuring and supporting secure, reliable networks.
  • Working with firewalls, network segmentation and secure connectivity.
  • Helping deliver the new site setup and wider infrastructure improvements.
  • Improving security practices and technical documentation.
  • Solving complex problems and supporting your junior colleague.

What you'll bring

Strong hands-on experience in network engineering and security, including enterprise firewalls, routing, switching and VLANs. You'll enjoy taking ownership and be confident suggesting how things could work better.

Cloud networking, automation or security governance experience would be useful additions.

Already a strong engineer and keen to take on more design responsibility? This could be a great next step.

What's on offer:

  • Up to Β£65,000 basic.
  • 10% completion bonus, subject to scheme conditions.
  • Hybrid working with flexibility over office days.
  • 5% employer pension contribution, with 4% employee contribution.
  • Private healthcare and wellness benefits.

This is a 12-month fixed-term employed role, with potential to become permanent depending on business needs.
