Who We Are: F45 Training is group fitness, with the effectiveness and attention of a personal trainer. Our world-class, functional training sessions are designed so that anyone can participate, from complete beginners to seasoned athletes. At F45 Amsterdam Frederiksplein, we have built a community of people who show up, work hard, and support each other. Our coaches are at the heart of that, not just leading sessions, but shaping the culture of the studio.

The Role: We are looking for an energetic, reliable and people-focused F45 Coach to join our team at the Amsterdam studio. This is a freelance coaching role focused on delivering high-quality F45 classes, creating an amazing member experience and helping our community feel motivated, supported and challenged in every session. The workouts are programmed by F45, so this role is all about coaching delivery, energy, member connection, technique correction and creating a strong studio atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching Classes - Deliver F45 classes to a high standard. Demonstrate exercises clearly and confidently. Coach members on technique, form and safe movement. Provide regressions and progressions where needed. Motivate members throughout the session and bring strong energy to the room. Work well alongside another coach during shared classes. Keep the class flowing smoothly and on time.
  • Member Experience - Welcome members and trialists warmly when they arrive. Learn member names and build strong relationships. Help new members feel comfortable and confident. Support trialists and first-timers during their first classes. Create an inclusive, positive and community-driven atmosphere. Encourage members and celebrate their progress.
  • Studio Standards - Arrive on time and be ready before class starts. Help set up equipment before class. Reset and tidy the studio after class. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and presentation. Report any equipment issues or member concerns to the Studio Manager. Follow studio processes and coaching standards.
  • Team Culture - Work positively with the coaching team and Studio Manager. Communicate availability, cover and any issues clearly. Be reliable, professional and proactive. Represent the F45 brand and studio values at all times. Contribute to a strong, supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A qualified fitness coach or personal trainer.
  • Confident coaching group fitness classes.
  • Energetic, engaging and positive.
  • Strong at motivating people.
  • Confident correcting technique and giving feedback.
  • Friendly, approachable and good with members.
  • Reliable, punctual and professional.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced group training environment.
  • Passionate about fitness, people and community.

Requirements:

  • Relevant fitness qualification / coaching certification.
  • Experience coaching group fitness, functional training or personal training.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Dutch language skills are a bonus but not essential.
  • Right to work in the Netherlands.
  • Registered or willing to operate as a freelance contractor/ZZP’er where applicable.
  • Ability to invoice for coaching hours.

What We Offer:

  • Freelance coaching role with flexible hours.
  • Coaching rate of €28 per hour, excluding VAT where applicable.
  • Pre-programmed F45 workouts.
  • Supportive team and studio environment.
  • Opportunity to coach within a strong fitness community.
  • Ongoing feedback and development.
  • Potential for more hours as the studio grows.
  • Free F45 membership for you.
  • Discounted F45 membership for friends and family.

Ideal Fit: This role is ideal for someone who loves coaching, brings great energy to the room and genuinely enjoys helping members move better, train harder and feel part of a community. We are looking for someone who is not just there to count reps, but to coach properly, connect with people and help deliver the best possible F45 experience.
