Who We Are: F45 Training is group fitness, with the effectiveness and attention of a personal trainer. Our world-class, functional training sessions are designed so that anyone can participate, from complete beginners to seasoned athletes. At F45 Amsterdam Frederiksplein, we have built a community of people who show up, work hard, and support each other. Our Assistant Studio Manager is at the forefront of that, not just coaching sessions, but leading the team of coaches and shaping the culture of the studio.

The Role: We are looking for an energetic, organised and people-focused Assistant Manager & Coach to support the day-to-day running and growth of the studio. This is a hybrid role combining coaching with studio operations, member experience, sales follow-up and admin support. The right person will be confident on the studio floor, proactive behind the scenes, and genuinely invested in helping members feel supported, motivated and part of the F45 community. This role would suit someone who loves fitness, has strong communication skills, enjoys building relationships, and is comfortable taking ownership without needing to be micromanaged.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coaching & Member Experience - Coach F45 classes to a high standard, delivering energy, clear demonstrations, corrections and motivation. Create a welcoming, inclusive and high-energy studio environment. Build strong relationships with members and understand their goals. Support new members and trialists so they feel confident from their first class. Help maintain high standards of studio presentation, cleanliness and member experience. Assist with member retention through regular check-ins and excellent service.
  • Sales & Lead Follow-Up - Support the conversion of trials, leads and enquiries into memberships. Follow up with new leads, trialists, lapsed members and prospects via WhatsApp, email, phone and studio systems. Help ensure every lead receives timely, friendly and consistent communication. Support the Studio Manager with sales campaigns, challenges, events and local outreach. Track conversations and update member notes accurately.
  • Studio Operations & Admin - Assist with 10–15 hours of weekly admin and operational support. Support timetable, class cover, member communications and daily studio tasks. Help manage member queries, membership changes and general admin. Keep systems updated, including Mindbody / CRM / lead tracking tools. Support reporting on leads, trials, conversions, attendance and retention. Assist with events, challenges, community activations and studio initiatives.
  • Team Support - Work closely with the Studio Manager and coaching team. Help maintain team standards and consistency across coaching, service and communication. Be a positive, reliable presence in the studio. Flag issues early and help find practical solutions. Support the team culture and contribute to a professional, motivated environment.

The ideal candidate will be:

  • A qualified fitness coach/group training instructor.
  • Confident coaching group fitness classes.
  • Friendly, warm and excellent with people.
  • Organised, reliable and able to manage admin tasks properly.
  • Comfortable with sales follow-up and member conversations.
  • Proactive and able to take initiative.
  • Strong on communication, both written and verbal.
  • Positive, professional and calm under pressure.
  • Passionate about F45, fitness and community.
  • Comfortable working as a freelance contractor.

Requirements:

  • Relevant fitness qualification/coaching certification.
  • Experience coaching group fitness classes.
  • Fluent or strong English communication skills.
  • Dutch language skills are a bonus but not essential.
  • Availability to coach classes and complete 10–15 admin hours per week.
  • Registered or willing to operate as a freelance contractor/ZZP’er where applicable.
  • Right to work in The Netherlands.

What We Offer:

  • Flexible contractor role combining coaching and admin hours.
  • Opportunity to be part of a growing F45 studio.
