The Deal Desk Partner is part of F5’s Global Sales Operations team and plays a key role in supporting sales teams across multiple regions with deal structuring, pricing, quoting, and contract reviews. This position partners closely with Sales, Finance, Legal, Channel, Professional Services, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to ensure deals are structured effectively and aligned with F5 policies and commercial guidelines.

The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide strategic pricing guidance, support complex negotiations, and drive operational efficiency throughout the sales process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage daily quoting, pricing approvals, and deal analysis
  • Provide discounting guidance and pricing support to regional sales teams
  • Ensure compliance with F5 policies, licensing programs, and sales processes
  • Meet service level agreements for pricing and approval requests
  • Partner with Finance on sales reporting and performance metrics
  • Analyse historical pricing trends to support complex deal reviews
  • Identify opportunities to improve deal review, scoring, and approval processes
  • Support projects and provide updates to Sales Operations leadership
  • Improve deal velocity by removing roadblocks and supporting the sales cycle
  • Maintain clear communication with HQ and regional sales teams
  • Represent customer and field feedback to help drive operational improvements
Skills & Experience
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with CRM and reporting tools such as Salesforce (SFDC) and Tableau preferred
  • Solid understanding of sales operations, pricing, and channel/direct sales processes
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Self-starter with strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Sales Operations or a similar sales support role

This role is office-based and may occasionally require extended hours during quarter-end periods, as well as limited domestic or international travel. Responsibilities may evolve in line with business needs.
