We’re hiring a Junior Unix Systems Administrator to join a growing technology team supporting enterprise‑scale environments. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career who is looking to build hands‑on experience in Unix/Linux systems, develop automation skills, and learn from a highly experienced team.
About the Role:
You’ll support the day‑to‑day running of Unix/Linux systems across production and development environments. Working alongside senior engineers, you’ll gain exposure to incident management, system maintenance, and continuous improvement, building a strong foundation in enterprise infrastructure.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the monitoring and maintenance of Unix/Linux systems
- Assist with incident resolution, service requests, and change activities
- Carry out routine system checks, patching, and updates
- Troubleshoot basic issues across systems, applications, and infrastructure
- Support user administration (accounts, permissions, file systems)
- Help maintain system security and follow best practice processes
