Application Packager
Up to £40,000 | Mostly remote | One day a week onsite in Portsmouth or Salisbury
Enjoy taking an application from a messy installer to a reliable, ready-to-deploy package? This is a varied role in a supportive packaging team, working across Windows 11 environments and helping improve how software reaches users.
You'll handle the full process: discovery, packaging, testing, UAT and release into production. Alongside that, you'll troubleshoot deployment issues and have the chance to suggest smarter, more efficient ways of working.
What you'll be doing
Building MSIX and MSI packages, MST transforms and PowerShell scripted installations
Creating and managing application deployments through MECM and Intune
Testing, documenting and releasing packages across multiple networks
Troubleshooting packaging and deployment issues
Supporting licence server work, Group Policy and Active Directory changes
Working closely with teammates, clients and vendors to get issues resolved
What you'll bring
You'll have hands-on application packaging experience, with strong skills in MSI/MSIX, MST and PowerShell. You'll also know your way around MECM and Intune and be comfortable investigating why an application or deployment hasn't worked as expected.
You must be a sole UK national and eligible for SC clearance . The role requires one day a week onsite in either Salisbury or Portsmouth.
