Network & Communications Team Leader

We\’re Hiring: Unified Communications Lead £60,000–£70,000 + Benefits On-Site – Stevenage (5 days per week) Can you explain the role of a Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) in a VoIP environment, the purpose of a SIP Trunk and the difference between a Route Pattern and a Translation Pattern in Cisco CUCM? You\’ll be central to managing and enhancing enterprise-grade VoIP and Unified Communications infrastructure in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a fully on-site role based in Stevenage, and you MUST be eligible for SC clearance and have advanced Cisco Unified Communications experience. Hands-on experience with VoIP systems, PBX, and Unified Communications platforms like Cisco. 323, and other protocols, with a knack for troubleshooting complex call quality and connectivity issues. A strong foundation in networking, including QoS, VLANs, DNS, and firewalls, with a focus on VoIP traffic. Resolve Level 2 and 3 incidents across telephony and video conferencing environments Respond to hardware and software application requests Participate in and lead Unified Communications and video conferencing projects Support operational teams on an ad hoc basis Maintain and optimise telephony and video infrastructure (MCO) Lead and mentor local team members, encouraging knowledge sharing Expertise in Cisco TOIP (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IPPhone, Cisco SBS, VG2xx), Webex, and video conferencing solutions (TMS, Pexip) Proven people management and team leadership skills
