We are looking for a forward-thinking Head of User Experience (Modern Workplace) to lead the evolution of our digital workplace and end-user services across the organisation. This is a strategic leadership role focused on delivering a seamless, data-driven, and user-centric technology experience. You will own the vision, strategy, and execution of Modern Workplace services—ensuring employees are empowered, productive, and engaged through best-in-class digital tools and support.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Define and deliver the Modern Workplace and End User Experience strategy, aligned with organisational and technology objectives.
- Lead the transformation from traditional IT support to a proactive, experience-led service model.
- Own the delivery of end-to-end user workplace services, including Service Desk, EUC Engineering, Endpoint Management, and Collaboration platforms.
- Champion Digital Employee Experience (DEX), leveraging analytics, automation, and insight-driven improvements.
- Drive adoption and optimisation of Modern Workplace technologies (M365, Teams, Intune, Windows 11, VDI/Citrix, mobile platforms).
- Build and embed Experience Level Agreements (XLAs) and user-centric performance metrics.
- Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing multi-disciplinary team.
- Oversee suppliers, partners, and budgets, ensuring value, performance, and service innovation.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders and business leaders, translating technology into measurable business outcomes.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in a Head of EUX / End User Computing / Workplace Technology role.
- Strong track record delivering Modern Workplace and DEX transformation programmes.
- Deep expertise across Microsoft ecosystem and end-user platforms.
- Experience implementing or optimising DEX tools (e.g. Nexthink, Lakeside, Aternity).
- Strong understanding of IT Service Management (ServiceNow or similar) and service transformation.
- Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, suppliers, and outsourced services.
- Passion for user-centred design, productivity, and employee experience.
- Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to influence C-suite and board-level decisions.
