I’m currently working with a fast-growing fintech company. The business is gaining strong traction with mid-sized and enterprise retailers across the UK and is now looking to hire an Account Executive to join the sales team.
This role will suit someone who enjoys outbound sales, building relationships with senior stakeholders, and managing complex deals from first conversation through to close.
The Role
- Drive outbound sales activity targeting enterprise merchants.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through to negotiation and closing.
- Identify key decision-makers and build relationships with multiple stakeholders within target businesses.
- Develop internal champions to help progress opportunities through the sales process.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline while consistently working towards revenue targets.
- Work closely with internal teams across product and sales to refine messaging and value propositions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates and forecasting.
What They’re Looking For
- Proven B2B sales experience selling into mid-market or enterprise companies.
- Experience in payments is preferred.
- Comfortable running longer, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
- Strong commercial awareness with the ability to communicate value and ROI.
- Confident building relationships with senior decision-makers.
- Experience using structured sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDICC) is helpful but not essential.
