Product Owner Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 up to 15% bonus profit share scheme Location: Central Bristol - 3 days in the office / 2 days work from home Type: Permanent We're supporting an established professional services company with their search for a Product Owner to join a small Software Engineering team. You'll own the product lifecycle from discovery through to release, managing roadmaps and development priorities across AI tools and business applications. Working closely with stakeholders and the engineering team, you'll balance business requirements with delivery capacity and support testing and rollout.
Key responsibilities
Lead discovery sessions and gather requirements from stakeholders and end users Write user stories and manage product roadmaps Prioritise development work across AI tools and business applications Work closely with developers, answering questions and clarifying requirements Coordinate UX/UI work alongside development priorities Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives Track delivery progress and address risks or delays Review test scripts and carry out user acceptance testing Demonstrate new features and create training materials Work with UK and international teams, using feedback to improve products and processes What we're looking for Experience in Product Ownership or a similar role with responsibility for software delivery Experience taking products or features from initial requirements through to release Strong requirements gathering, user story writing and prioritisation skills Experience working closely with software developers in an Agile environment Confidence managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations Experience in user acceptance testing and strong attention to detail Clear communication with technical and non-technical colleagues An interest in AI and using technology to solve business problems Benefits Up to 15% annual bonus Company profit share scheme Private healthcare 25 days holiday with buy/sell options Enhanced maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave RSG Plc is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
