I’m currently supporting a fast-growing, 100+ employee digital transformation consultancy who are hiring a Data Scientist to join their team. They’re established in the UK Defence sector and are now expanding into other industries.

This is a hybrid role combining remote work, collaboration in their central Bristol office, and expensed client site visits across South England. You can expect to be in the office or on-site around 1–2 days per week.

  • Use Python (including libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.) to build and deploy predictive models and ML algorithms
  • Develop pre-processing pipelines to clean, transform, and prepare data for modelling
  • Conduct statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to validate assumptions
  • Translate business problems into robust, data-driven strategies
  • Collaborate within agile delivery teams and support continuous improvement

Eligibility for UK Security Clearance (SC) is essential.

  • Strong Python skills with hands-on experience using libraries like Pandas, Scikit-learn, and NumPy
  • Solid understanding of statistics, data modelling, and machine learning techniques
  • Experience delivering data science solutions in a business or client-facing environment
  • Familiarity with tools such as Power BI, Excel, and the wider Microsoft suite
