We're looking for a UX Designer with experience delivering user-centred digital services within GDS and public sector environments. You'll join a multidisciplinary Agile team, helping to design accessible, intuitive services that meet user needs and align with Government Digital Service standards.
What you'll be doing:
- Designing end-to-end user experiences for digital products and services
- Creating user journeys, personas, service blueprints and wireframes
- Building interactive prototypes using Figma and GOV.UK Prototype Kit
- Working closely with User Researchers, Product Owners, Developers and Business Analysts
- Applying GDS principles, accessibility standards and user-centred design best practices
- Presenting and justifying design decisions to stakeholders
What we're looking for:
- Experience working on GDS or public sector digital projects
- Strong understanding of GDS Service Standards and GOV.UK Design System
- Experience creating UX and service design artefacts
- Strong prototyping skills using Figma
- Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and GOV.UK Prototype Kit would be beneficial
- Eligible for SC Clearance (existing clearance is advantageous)
