We're working with a growing consultancy delivering advanced analytics and optimisation solutions. They're looking for a Senior Data Science Consultant to help solve complex operational and supply chain challenges.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining data science with mathematical optimisation, working on real-world problems with tangible impact.
The Role
- You'll design and deliver optimisation and data science solutions, working closely with clients to turn complex business problems into scalable, production-ready models.
- Projects include predictive modelling, simulation, and optimisation, often delivered using modern platforms such as Palantir Foundry alongside Python and cloud technologies.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building optimisation models and ML solutions to support decision-making
- Applying techniques such as mixed integer programming, simulation and advanced analytics
- Developing production-ready pipelines and models
- Working directly with stakeholders to shape solutions and deliver value
- Delivering projects in an Agile (Discovery – Alpha – Beta – Live) environment
What They're Looking For
- Strong Python and data science / machine learning experience
- Exposure to optimisation or operations research (e.g. MIP, linear/non-linear programming, solvers like Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools)
- Experience delivering end-to-end data solutions
- Strong communication skills and client-facing experience
Nice to have:
- Experience with Palantir Foundry or similar platforms
- Background in supply chain, defence, or operational analytics
- Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
