A digital transformation consultancy is looking for User Researchers to work on large-scale public sector services. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team designing and improving end-to-end digital services used by a wide range of users. This role goes beyond running research - you’ll play a key role in shaping decisions, influencing stakeholders, and ensuring user needs are central throughout delivery. There’s also a growing focus on how AI can support and scale research, so it’s a great opportunity to be part of that evolution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Designing and delivering user research across different stages of service development
  • Using a mix of methods (e.g. interviews, usability testing, surveys) to uncover meaningful insights
  • Working closely with designers, product managers and engineers to inform design decisions
  • Bringing user needs to life through clear, compelling insight and storytelling
  • Contributing to accessible, inclusive services aligned to GDS principles
  • Exploring ways to use AI and tools to enhance research efficiency and impact

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience delivering user research in GDS or public sector environments
  • Strong understanding of qualitative and/or quantitative research methods
  • Experience working within agile, multidisciplinary teams
  • Confidence communicating insights and influencing stakeholders
  • Ability to connect research to product and service outcomes
