A leading technology consultancy is seeking an experienced IT Programme Manager to lead large-scale digital transformation programmes within the UK Government. This role combines programme leadership, commercial accountability, and client engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Lead large-scale digital transformation programmes across software, applications, cloud, and business change.
- Own programme governance, financial performance, P&L, forecasting, and delivery assurance.
- Build strong relationships with senior client stakeholders and support strategic account growth.
- Lead large multi-disciplinary teams across delivery, engineering, architecture, testing, and change.
- Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and delivery innovation.
- Support commercial activities including business cases, bids, account development, and contract delivery.
- Experience leading complex software, digital, or technology transformation programmes.
- Strong programme governance, financial management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience leading large multi-disciplinary teams in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid environments.
- Commercial awareness with responsibility for budgets, forecasting, and delivery performance.
- Experience in consulting, systems integration, government, or other regulated environments is desirable.
