We're supporting a global technology consultancy who are looking to hire Senior Data Engineers into their growing data practice. You'll work across a variety of client projects across the UK Government and private sector, helping organisations build modern cloud-based data solutions that support analytics, machine learning and emerging AI use cases. Expensed travel to client sites across the UK is required, typically averaging around 6-8 visits per month depending on the engagement.

What you'll be doing:

  • Building and optimising data pipelines using modern ETL/ELT approaches
  • Working across Azure and/or AWS cloud environments
  • Designing data models and ensuring data quality and governance standards are met
  • Delivering solutions using technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, Spark and other modern data tooling
  • Supporting the data foundations that underpin analytics, ML and GenAI initiatives
  • Using software engineering best practices including CI/CD, automated testing and Infrastructure as Code
  • Working closely with client stakeholders, architects, engineers and data scientists

  • 5+ years Data Engineering experience delivering production-grade solutions
  • Python and SQL
  • Experience with modern cloud data technologies such as Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, Airflow, dbt or similar
  • Understanding of data modelling, performance optimisation and data quality
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Eligible for SC Clearance
