We're looking for a UX Designer with experience delivering user-centred digital services within GDS and public sector environments. You'll join a multidisciplinary Agile team, helping to design accessible, intuitive services that meet user needs and align with Government Digital Service standards.

What you'll be doing:

  • Designing end-to-end user experiences for digital products and services
  • Creating user journeys, personas, service blueprints and wireframes
  • Building interactive prototypes using Figma and GOV.UK Prototype Kit
  • Working closely with User Researchers, Product Owners, Developers and Business Analysts
  • Applying GDS principles, accessibility standards and user-centred design best practices
  • Presenting and justifying design decisions to stakeholders

What we're looking for:

  • Experience working on GDS or public sector digital projects
  • Strong understanding of GDS Service Standards and GOV.UK Design System
  • Experience creating UX and service design artefacts
  • Strong prototyping skills using Figma
  • Experience working in Agile, cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and GOV.UK Prototype Kit would be beneficial
  • Eligible for SC Clearance (existing clearance is advantageous)
