We're hiring multiple Onsite Workplace Engineers to support a large, secure environment in Barrow-in-Furness (5 days onsite). These are hands-on 2nd line roles supporting end users in a complex environment, with opportunities to specialise in VDI and endpoint security (Ivanti / IDAC).
Core experience:
- Strong 2nd line / desktop support background
- Windows 10/7 (build, config, registry)
- SCCM (OS & app deployment, support)
- Microsoft Office / Outlook / Exchange
- ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
- Desktop security (BitLocker, NTFS permissions, etc.)
We're especially interested in:
- VDI specialists
- Supporting virtual desktop environments
- Troubleshooting performance, access & stability
- User support within virtualised desktops
- Endpoint Security specialists
- Ivanti / Device Application Control (IDAC) / Defendpoint
- Application control & endpoint security tooling
Requirements:
- Full driving licence
- Must be 21+ (insurance requirement)
- SC Clearance eligibility required (5 years UK residency)
- Barrow-in-Furness - fully onsite
