Yard Operative – Temp to Perm Opportunities (2 Positions Available) Trafford Park | Day Shift | £12.94 - £13.19 per hour + Bonuses F2 Recruitment, acting as an employment business, is currently recruiting for 2 x Yard Operatives on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis for our client based in Trafford Park . This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual to secure a permanent position with a growing business. The site is conveniently located next to the new Trafford Park Metro Link tram stop (Village) , offering easy access for commuters. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working in an outdoor yard environment. Previous experience within the chemical waste, recycling, manufacturing, or waste management industries would be advantageous, although full training will be provided. A valid FLT Counterbalance licence is preferred but not essential – we are happy to support refresher training for candidates who hold an expired but compliant certificate. The Role: As a Yard Operative, your duties will include: Washing, drying, cutting, shredding, and processing plastic and steel containers Operating machinery safely and efficiently General yard organisation and housekeeping Ensuring quality standards are maintained for customers Working outdoors and within open warehouse areas throughout the year Completing repetitive manual tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail About You: The ideal candidate will have: A strong work ethic and a reliable approach to attendance Good concentration and attention to detail The ability to work independently and as part of a team The ability to carry out physical work, including lifting up to 17kg Comfort working outside in all weather conditions Previous yard, waste, recycling, manufacturing, or industrial experience (preferred) FLT Counterbalance experience/licence (advantageous, but not essential) Hours & Pay: Full-time: 37.5 hours per week Day shift: Monday to Friday, 6:00am – 2:00pm<...
